But, as the Metro will not be up and running for another 45 days, the introduction of paid parking now is not ideal for those who shop regularly. If one mall introduces this new procedure, others will follow. While the Metro stations will be closely linked with the major malls, they are not yet open. Until they do, many residents in the affected areas will hesitate to visit because of these parking fees.
