AC shelters are not functioning

In some of Dubai’s air-conditioned bus stop shelters, the ACs are not working.

The RTA constructed these shelters to protect passengers from the hot sun, but to my surprise in three or four bus shelters at various locations, the AC is not functioning.

Since the coming months will be even more hot, I request the authorities look into this important issue. Otherwise the purpose of constructing the AC shelters is defeated.

    THe A/C seems to be more of a checklist item for RTA than being functional.. It has not worked at all.. As more people commute by public transportation, providing adequate facilities is the key.

    it is very difficult to stand out side in summer.Iwas happy they provide edthe shelters,but poor maintenence.In the world every where plus and minus.India is a Beautiful country ,but unfortunately in the wrong hands of Politicians.If you see my old entries ,june many letters i commented in Ndtv web.
